A wall light, or light object, formed by laser technology in polyamide. The form is based on the fibonacci series of numbers widely found in nature, the seed head of the sunflower or cone flower being good examples.

The designer Janne Kyttanen began his studies in Barcelona followed by the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam from which he graduated in 2000. His thesis dealt with the use of digital manufacturing processes and rapid manufactured products and on this basis he set up his company FOC, based in Helsinki Finland.

1597 has won several awards including the Interior Innovation Design Award 2006.
