LUMINATOR

A classic floor lamp with dimmer. Fontana Arte are one of the oldest luminaire manufacturers and the designer of this lamp Pietro Chiesa was one of the greatest exponents of Italian Art Deco and his work was widely exhibited throughout the 1930's and 1940's.

As his best known light, the Luminator with its elegant flute shape, is one of the earliest examples of the introduction of indirect light into the domestic environment, a technique only previously employed in photography because of its uniform and shadow free effect.

The body is brass and is finished in nickel plate or black.
