One For The Recession

'One For The Recession' , designed by Ingo Maurer, is an original wall lamp constructed of sheet steel and pivots on a single wall fixing through 360 degrees.  A soft blue light shimmers from one side in contrast to the sharp profile of the silhouette.

German born artist and designer of light objects has received many design awards and been featured in many museums and exhibitions. His work is both provocative and witty and creates an element of fun shining out of the gloom.
