A simple sculptural lamp formed by laser sintering with an ABS top diffuser and small foot.

The form is reminiscent of a Japanese paper lantern and the horizontal rings are formed as part of a complex profile that allows light to pass between in an indirect way. When lit there is a negative contrast from the light passing between the rings and the rings themselves and the fitting takes on a completely different form.
