Spanish lighting company Vibia, in cooperation wth Architonic, is running an ideas competition to discover the potential of Vibia's new modular lighting collections applied to architectural and interior design projects.

First prize Euro 25,000     Second prize Euro 10,000      Third prize Euro 5,000

The closing date is 10th July 2012 and the challenge is to create a lighting project using one or more of the collections through the new CREA software available as a free download from Vibia.

The collections are 'structural systems' rather than individual products and they encourage creative freedom to use the products in a totally individual way.

To assist in ths process, the CREA software enables the designer to create a 3-dimensional room-set, either by using the easy to follow directions or by importing a pre-determined space in cad .dwg or .dxf format. Having created the space the products can be imported and arranged within it and lighting effects can be simulated and exported as 3-dimensional visuals.
