An amazing new concept in decorative lighting is to be launched at the Frankfurt Light+Building Fair in April 2010. It is a result of many months of collaboration between the award winning artist and designer Ayala Serfaty and textile artist Irit Dulman
The new collection uses different combinations of mohair and wool dressed over a transparent tube containing an energy efficient light source. The use of natural and white mohair with natural or coloured wool creates a variety of soft forms, colours and textures and the extended range includes new floor lamps, wall, table, ceiling and pendant structures.
The 'shades' are removable for dry cleaning.
Chelsea Lighting Design will be showing a selection of products from the collection as soon as they become available in the Spring.
