WG 24![]() A classic table lamp by this German designer who started his apprenticeship in silverwork. In 1923 he went to the "Bauhaus" in Weimar and became a widely known industrial designer. His work had a great influence on the development of American design through his association with the Metropolitan Museum's exhibition of Contemporary Industrial Design in 1930 and he has his own Museum in Bremen, the Wilhelm Wagenfeld Haus. The lamp is a combination of nickel plated metal and clear and opal glass. Each lamp is consecutively numbered.
