QUADRO![]() A classic table lamp, designed in 1930 byJacques Adnet [1901 - 1984] a great exponent of Art Deco French Modernism. The piece has been produced by Lumen Center Italia as one of their Classic editions since 1930. The lamp has recently been re-issued in a modernised form using LED technology, with an electronic and dimmable driver. Jacques Adnet was director of 'La Compagnie des Arts Francais' with other distinguished members such as Francois Jourdain, Charlotte Perriand and Georges Jouve. The lamp is made from brass tube, electro-plated with Palladium, a rare and lustrous silvery-white metal discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston.
