PLEAT BOX
As the name suggests Pleat Box is derived from the form created by a folded or pleated fabric that is translated by Xavier Manosa, a master ceramicist, into his own medium of ceramic. The design is in collaboration with the Mashallah Design Studio in Berlin. The shades are hand finished and the outer part is the pure unglazed pottery in white or terracotta or in a coarse grey colour produced from re-cycled glazes. The interior of the shade is either white or gold leaf for an extra warm light. Pleat Box is available in four sizes and in all colour combinations in each size. The sizes are 47cm dia x 26cm H, 36cm dia x 16cm H, 24cm dia x 18cm H, 13cm dia x 26cm H
