A rechargeable and portable desk lamp that operates direct from the mains or battery [battery life 4 hours].

The polycarbonate body has an on/off touch device [microswitch] and is designed to 'yield in contact with the body'. The adjustable head houses 18 x 0.12W LEDs and it may used as a torch as well as a desk lamp. The rounded base has a coloured LED to indicate the battery status.
