Chelsea Lighting Design is a London PARTNER + for the Munich based lighting company Occhio

The Occhio lighting company is one of the fastest growing companies in the lighting industry and is a market leader for high-quality lighting in Europe.

Founded in 1999 by the designer Axel Meise, the company employs a team of 25 designers, marketing, sales and service personnel.

The inspiration for the Axelmeiselicht system came from an idea to create a comprehensive 'lighting tool'.

Continuous innovation and development has become the basis of the Occhio philosophy and the company by-word is 'light is evolution'.

There are several head types and the system uses a unique interchangeable mechanism to attach the various heads to the comprehensive range of bodies.

The latest additions to the ranges are due to be launched in 2012 and will use innovative LED technology in combination with lenses, reflectors and colour filters to produce professional lighting performance and stunning lighting effects.
