A brand new pendant suspension from this innovative design studio.

ARMADILLO derives its name from the spanish 'armardo' meaning 'armed man' and the south american mammal with the same name which means 'little armoured one'.

This is reflected in the form of this fitting and the overlapping platelets of timber veneers that create a texture and pattern of light and shade when illuminated from within.

The prototype was launched at the Valencia Fair 2010 and it is available in 2 sizes, 78cms long x 50cms high and 104cms long x 70cms high.

The fitting is suspended on a wire suspension from a single ceiling plate.

Finishes in natural timber veneers, American White Wood,  and colours with a white internal diffuser.
