MITE

Marc Sadler is renowned for his innovative use of plastic materials. In 2001 he won a Compasso d'Oro for the  Mite  floor light and  Tite  hanging light.

The range of lights, including table versions  Lite  and floor versions  Kite  in a range of sizes, are formed in a composite material with a high strength-to-weight ratio made up of fibreglass strengthened with either black carbon thread or gold coloured Kevlar*. This is the first time this material has been used in lighting and has excellent diffusing properties.

The floor lamp stands on a chrome-plated metal base and is complete with dimmer.
