DALU
A re-edition of the original version designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965 and still appropriate today. It is an early example of one of the central goals of modern design which is the realisation of single-material, single piece constructions - the idea being that design unity makes manufacturing much more efficient. It also cleverly translated the idea of the cantilevered form into ABS and may be seen as the lighting equivalent of the Panton chair of the early sixties.
