Chelsea Lighting Design install a spectacular pendant for the new London headquarters of leading law firm, Holman Fenwick Willan
Established in the early part of the nineteenth century, Holman Fenwick Willan is a global company acknowledged as one of the world's leading maritime law firms, with offices in the strategic centres of trade and shipping, including London, with 300 lawyers operating in eight countries.
In September 2008, after one hundred years in Lloyds Avenue, the London office moved the short distance to newly refurbished premises in Friary Court, still within the City.
The project designers, tp bennett, commissioned a large pendant to feature in a double height bay window central to the main reception of Friary Court. The purpose-built "Gregg" pendant, comprising thirty suspension drops of various lengths mounted on a special ceiling plate, was pre-fabricated in Italy by the manufacturer Foscarini and was supplied and installed on schedule, under the supervision of Chelsea Lighting Design in collaboration with the designers.
