 InstallationWhat is a Circuit Breaker ?A switch in an electrical consumer unit that performs the same function as a fuse. Under abnormal circumstances or potentially dangerous conditions it automatically switches off the current to the circuit. Only when the fault is detected and put right, can the circuit breaker be re-set to the ON position. They may also be referred to as an MCB [ Miniature Circuit Breaker ]
